Search Terms
A name, location, or other text entered into a search box is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. Hawaiʻi County Busted Mugshots does not store or log those search terms on its own systems, but the provider's privacy terms govern its handling of the request.
Messages and Requests
If a visitor sends an email or contact message, the information in that message is kept long enough to read and respond. It is not shared outside the operating organization unless disclosure is required by law, a legal order, or a service needed to deliver the reply.

Personal information is not sold by this service. It may nevertheless be available to the following parties when needed for the stated purposes:
- Search partners that process a submitted query.
- Analytics and hosting providers that help operate the pages.
- Advertising networks that deliver or measure ads.
- Law-enforcement or government bodies responding to a valid legal order.
Security Is Best Effort
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used for information handled by the service. No internet-connected system is completely secure, however. This service cannot promise that a transmission, stored message, or outside provider will be breach-proof.
Visitors Under Eighteen
The service is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has sent information, a parent or guardian may use the Contact Us page to request that it be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law and reasonable verification, a visitor may ask for:
